Dragon's Breath -October 2021
Hello My Dragons!
So glad to be telling you about all the great stuff that we have in development in this edition of the Dragon's Breath newsletter. Fall is my favorite season and October is my favorite part of fall, which I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
First things first, we have two books coming out this month. The first is right around the corner, publishing next Friday. October 8th. That book would be "Foxfire: Kindling flames" by Jeremiah T Foxx. If you haven't been following it, it's a thrilling mix of sci-fi and fantasy genres, with magic and technology at the forefront of the book's plot and setting. It's certainly one of a kind, so check it out in one week!
Coming up next is "The Ghost Company: A Wolves of War Story" by Adam TS Conlon. The book is a shorter entry into the Wolves of War series that will take place in between A Feast for Flies and Crown and Conflagration, which is the final book. It's not required reading for the series per se, but it enhances the world and characters of the series enough that I wouldn't want to miss it. Conlon's latest will be published on October 29th, just in time for Halloween.
Of course, that leads into our next book with "Wolves of War: Crown and Conflagration" which shall be the last entry into the mainline Wolves of War series. This book is currently scheduled for December 3rd of this year. This book shall provide the epic conclusion that the last few books have been setting up.
I'm pleased to be able to share with you the synopsis for that book now:
Tensions are mounting between noble and commoner. As husband and wife, Orrick and Sylvia protect Brzeg against any more of the Ghost Company’s violence. Orrick strives to prove Dario Cephus still wishes to harm the realm. But each time he interrogates a blackguard, they deny his involvement. And a new threat has emerged: “Lady White Death,” a white specter who burns manses with the nobles still inside. Soon, Orrick leaves Newtown—and Tourm, itself—on a diplomatic visit to the dwarves of Ojçakask. Sylvia must keep Brzeg safe without him. When Lady White Death visits Castle Albicant, Orrick vanishes. The entire kingdom is in an uproar. The Ghost Company finally sets their plans in motion. A nation apart, Crown Prince Armitage and Lady Sylvia must fend for themselves. In the “Wolves of War” saga’s thrilling conclusion, discover what secrets the free folk hold. Who will live and who will die as the final battle rages for the kingdom’s future?
I'm also excited to announce a new book by a new author that we shall be releasing more information on soon. The author's name is Eric Staggs and his book is "The Serpent Rider." This action-packed fantastical adventure is set in the mythical nation of Atlantis and chronicles the changing tides of its military and political statuses through the lens of Keteris, an elite warrior known as a serpent rider. Sounds really awesome, right? Well, it is. Definitely not something you'll want to swim past. Get ready to dive into the waters of "The Serpent Rider" which will be coming to shelves soon. More information to be released this month.
That's all for this edition of the Dragon's Breath.
See ya next time!
